Early Thanksgiving Good Times

We had our "thanksgiving" with my side of the family early. It was super fun. The leaves were gorgeous so we all took pics outside. Some turned out better than others...particularly those that don't have 3 children :) Oh well. I love my little family.

I made these little name place cards for our table. Then afterwards we all wrote what we were thankful for that person in. It was fun and simple. Jackson picked all the leaves and he loved it! They were drying from the ModPodge here.
My family likes to sleep after just about any function...specifically meals. We are good at it!

 We wake up happy! :)

Finished product with thankful words too! :)

Random Fall Fun Photos

We might have had some sparklers left over from Matt and Brittany's wedding :)

 More leaves!

Charleigh doing her "bible study" with Mommy in the morning!

Our thankful tree in the beginning!
 I love those eyes!
Jackson wanted desperately to make this guitar/turbo cannon gun! Oh the love of boys and all his toys! I loved that we were outside and using his imagination and creativity!

Matt & Brittany Fowler

Saturday we had a Bridal Luncheon at Philbrook. It was beautiful and yummy too!
Then later Saturday night we had rehearsal & dinner! So fun to see old and new faces collide!
After the Dinner, the boys went out and had lots of good clean bachelor party fun.

And then they were married!!!! Sunday November 11th 2012. Look at that sweet family, together as a unit at last!

Congrats to Matt and Brittany and your sweet three kiddos. We are thrilled for you all. May God always be glorified in your marriage and lives. Love you!

Kids Trip to Branson & Date Night

Nonna and Papaw took all three kiddos to Branson to a Indoor Waterpark/Hotel and of course Silver Dollar City!
Kids' room was bunk style and they loved it!
If you look closely in this picture Jackson is not looking at the camera...but busy doing something.
This was taken right afterwards...notice the grimace! He had stuck his finger in an empty bulb hole and ELECTROCUTED himself! He had two burn marks where the current went through his body! Oh the boy. He didn't want to get in trouble but he was hurting! The park was nice enough to "reward" him for his curiosity with ice cream to smooth over anything from coming of it.

It made up for it! And he was fine and thankfully/hopefully learned his lesson on sticking his fingers places!

They love going to Branson with my parents! And this was no different except better because it was so fun in the water in the winter!

All the while they were there Jeff and I were busy with Matt and Brittany's Wedding festivities, but we did sneak in a date! Dinner and a movie (The Odd Life of Timothy Green (which I loved)) and a trip to walk around the newly opened Reasors. We are old officially. But I loved every minute.
