Travel Day #2

Charleigh, being her usual self, woke up early. Daddy took her down for breakfast, and I guess since she wanted Fruit Loops, I guess she was feeling better! :) Good night's sleep did her a lot of good!

And then the fun began...they were HILARIOUS

 and apparently feeling MUCH better!

We stopped by the Collin Street Bakery to pick up a fruit cake for my Grandma Maxie, because apparently they are her favorite! It was a treat too because we got cookies and a fudge cake too!
So much better traveling that day than the day before! We FINALLY made it to Houston! Woohoo!

Christmas Day

Early in the morning (late in the night) Charleigh puked all over our bed.  She was feeling miserable but even when she doesn't feel well she's still cute! We had our first ever Christmas morning at our house. But we try for our Christmas not to be about presents and us, but we did do a little unwrapping. Each kid had a bag from Grammy to open up that had some fun treats in it!

Afterwards, Charleigh got sick again...And then, much UN-according to plan, we headed out to miss the really nasty weather we were promised.  Only to find out that we were headed straight towards it and it all landed in Dallas instead of Tulsa. The weather was AWFUL and the pace was S.L.O.W.
The kids were perfect angels and did awesome.
Charleigh and her sweet self was NOT feeling good still...
We thought we were in the clear of both the weather and Charleigh getting sick, when she let us know otherwise in a horribly awful gigantic way! It was so bad, that we decided to get a hotel for the night and trudge on the rest of the way to Houston the next day.
We scrubbed this sweet sick baby up, as well as the car, the car seat and everything within a 3 foot radius of where she was sitting.
I think the big kids were happy to be out of the car!
We were ready for Jesus' birthday to be over by this point. We needed those "new mercies" that were promised new each morning! :) Thankfully we all got a decent rest and there were no more pukes, and the carseat was re-assembled in the right way.

Bergs and Fowler Mini Vacation

We had free rooms at a nice hotel and decided to invite the Fowler family to go with us. It was in Tulsa and wasn't a huge big thing, but it was so much fun! The kids played in the steam room, the pool, the hot tub and the sauna for a LONG time before we called it bedtime.

Charleigh found a penny letting us know Pop said "hi"
Fun dinner at Pei Wei! Woohoo!
sweet girls!
 silly boys

pretty disgusting considering the foam has lots of human skin cells and bacteria mixed in it, but she's funny!
 Movies before bed!

Christmas with Grammy

The girls went to have a playdate over at Kinsley and Brayton's house first! I love cousin relationships and these are the closest in age that we have for the girls. It's pretty fun!

Everyone got to open a "Christmas eve" present and so Creighton opened her BIG gift.

Meet Caroline! Her first ever American Girl doll.
 Christmas morning begins!

Charleigh had Mickey Mouse themed Christmas! It was awesome since her world literally revolves around Mickey Mouse!

Gymnastics was another big gift both girls received for Christmas with really cute leotards to go with the lessons!

Jackson got a majority of the new Skylander Giants and was super duper excited!
Caroline and Creighton got matching outfits! Pretty cute!
One of my presents was a new CHI flat iron. Charleigh has reaped the majority of the benefits of it as she REALLY likes to make her pretty curls straight! I think she's cute either way, but I really love her curls!
  Straight hair and Caroline!
 Cousins!

My big present was a multitude of giftcards for a weekend to myself (hotel, shopping and meals!) HIP HIP HORRAY!
Daddy and Jackson were both equally excited about Nintendos newest product the Wii U

Super fun times playing Settlers of Catan with the family!
